Crystal Palace Women have signed Fūka Tsunoda on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion for the 2026-27 season.

Tsunoda began her career with a three-year spell at Urawa Reds, making 47 appearances and scoring five goals, while winning five domestic honours, including two league titles.

Earning a move to Brighton in September 2025, she made 13 appearances in her first season, scoring twice in the WSL, including the opener in a 1-1 draw against Arsenal.

The 21-year-old has represented Japan up to the Under-20 level, playing four matches at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup and was given the captain’s armband for one of them.

Manager Jo Potter told cpfc.co.uk: “We are delighted to have Fuka here. She is an exciting talent and I look forward to seeing what she can bring to Palace.”
