Crystal Palace were confirmed as relegated from the Barclays Women’s Super League after one season with a big home defeat to West Ham.
Liverpool 2-2 Tottenham Hotspur
Crystal Palace 1-7 West Ham United
Everton 2-3 Brighton & Hove Albion
Leicester City 0-1 Manchester City
Manchester City got the only goal of the game at Leicester City to keep up hopes of a top-three finish. Lauren Hemp came off the bench to play a part in a 70th-minute breakthrough at Leicester City, Jess Park finishing powerfully. Khiara Keating had earlier come to the visitors rescue, denying Hannah Cain when she got clean through on goal. The Foxes’ Sam Tierney volleyed home but had her effort disallowed.

Brighton went fifth on goal-difference after twice coming from behind and then winning late on at Everton. Sara Holmgaard scored from a Katja Snoeijs cross, Michelle Agyemang equalised for Brighton assisted by Kiko Seike, only for Snoeijs to swiftly restore the lead after a ball from Toni Payne. Albion were back level before the break though, Nikita Parris setting up Fran Kirby to tap home. There was an added-time decider for Brighton, Rachel McLauchlan with a through ball from which Parris finished.
Sophie Roman Haug had Liverpool ahead when Spurs failed to clear a corner but Tottenham had turned it round by the half-hour mark, as Rachel Laws knocked a rebound off the bar into her own net and then Clare Hunt scored via a corner. Five minutes into the second half, Roman Haug got the Reds back on level terms and both sides went very close to a stoppage-time winner.

West Ham’s Shekiera Martinez hit a first-half treble as hosts Crystal Palace were sent on their way to relegation. Verena Hanshaw’s cross brought the opener, Oona Siren and Katrina Gorry then assisting with two quick breaks. The Hammers scored twice more on the counter attack, Martinez with her fourth and Viviane Asseyi making it 5-0. Katie Stengel pulled one back from the penalty spot but Emma Harries bagged a late brace for West Ham.
