Charlton Women have signed forward Cassandra Korhonen on a two-year deal from Danish club HB Køge.
The Swedish forward has spent her career competing at the highest levels in Sweden, Finland, Portugal, Switzerland, and most recently in Denmark.
She has made around 200 senior appearances, scoring over 100 goals, with impressive records from her spells at Västerås, Uppsala, Åland United, and Servette.
Capped up to the U21 level for her country, she also has experience playing in the Champions League.
Korhonen told cafc.co.uk: “I had a chat with the Karen Hills and the Sporting Director and felt it was a great opportunity to test myself in the WSL.
“I bring a lot of energy to the pitch and a strong temperament and can’t wait to get started.”
