Charlton Athletic Women have secured Keira Flannery on a permanent deal, following her loan spell with the Addicks last season.

The midfielder made 22 appearances for Charlton during their promotion play-off win, and now the 20-year-old has signed a three-year deal—the longest contract ever agreed with an Addicks Women’s player.

She joins from West Ham, who had also loaned her out to Gillingham, Reading, and Sunderland.

Internationally, she has so far represented England up to the U-19 level.

Flannery told cafc.co.uk: “I can’t wait to get started. I love my time here, I love the girls and the staff. To be back at The Valley and Sparrows Lane, it’s great, I can’t wait, I am really excited.”

“I learnt a lot last year, I can’t wait to keep learning, improving and building on what we did last year.”

“It was a no brainer, to stay, my time here was brilliant, I couldn’t have asked for more.”
