While SWPL leaders Glasgow City and Rangers drew 1-1, Celtic Women took advantage with a hard-fought narrow victory.

City led after Lisa Forrest forced an own-goal by Laura Rafferty, but with five minutes of the 90 to go, Calliste Brookshire brought Rangers back to level terms.

Montrose kept out Celtic until the hour mark when Maria McAneny made the breakthrough with what proved to be the only goal.

Hearts beat Partick Thistle with four second-half goals to move within a point of Rangers with a game in had. Carly Johns, Sade Adamolekun, Georgia Timms, and Monica Forsyth all found the net.

Ciara Grant, Eilidh Adams, and Rachael Boyle had Hibs three up on Hamilton at half-time, with Adams then doubling her tally and Rosie Livingstone also getting on the score sheet.

Aberdeen led Motherwell at the break with a Hannah Stewart goal, but just two minutes after the restart, Carla Boyce equalised. Mya Christie restored the Dons’ lead with five minutes of the 90 to go.
