Celtic won 4-3 away to Hearts after extra-time in the Scottish Gas Women’s Scottish Cup quarter-finals, while Stenhousemuir restricted Glasgow City to a 2-0 victory.

Celtic twice lead Hearts through Morgan Cross and Emma Westin but Kayla Jardine and Georgia Timms equalised.

Hannah Luke and Emma Lawton scored to give the Hoops a two-goal cushion in extra time, Bayley Hutchison pulled a goal back but too late on.

Lower-league Stenhousemuir’s cup run ended at Glasgow City, whose Sofia Maatta and Abi Harrison scored in the first half.

Rangers stormed through 8-0 at Partick Thistle, where Laura Berry’s hat-trick was added to by a Katie Wilkinson brace and singles from Nicola Docherty, Kathy Hill and Leah Eddie.

Montrose were leading Dundee United 2-0 early in the second half, when due to a medical emergency the game has had to be abandoned.

The draw for the semi-finals will be shown on the Scottish Gas Women’s Scottish Cup YouTube channel from 7pm on Monday, 16 February.
