Cardiff City stayed top of the Adran Premier with a win away to third-placed Swansea City, whose manager Yzzy Taylor was sent off for a second yellow card, in a match that also saw nine other cautions. Jessica Williams put the Swans ahead, but Mikayla Cook hit back with a quick brace, while Laura Curock missed a penalty for the Bluebirds.

Wrexham remain a point off the leaders with a game in hand after a 4-1 defeat of The New Saints. Maria Francis-Jones’ goal was cancelled out by Caitlin Chapman for the visitors, but Zara Gibbs put through her own goal and a swift Katie Barker double sealed the win.
Lucy Powell, Megan Kearle, and Jade Crofts all scored as Briton Ferry won at Aberystwyth, while Becca Thomas got the only goal to give Barry the win at Pontypridd.

Connah’s Quay missed a chance to clinch the title when held to a draw at Llandudno. Llanfair United won at Bangor with a Sioned Roberts brace to keep up their hopes. Berriew gained ground on fourth-placed Felinheli, whom they sent to a 3-1 defeat.

Leaders Cardiff Met were held to a 1-1 draw by Cwmbran Celtic, with Esme Kilburn-Thompson rescuing the point after Chelsea Cochrane’s opener. The two teams clash again at Cwmbran this Wednesday, 18 March, where a win for the Archers would see them crowned champions. Carmarthen Town cut the lead to four points with a victory at Llanelli, though they have played a game more. Pure Swansea are out of contention following a loss to Cascade, whose substitutes Phoebe Ware and Trinity Reakes turned the match around. Penybont moved up to fifth with a 2-0 win over Taffs Well.
