Burnley Women have been promoted to the Barclays WSL 2 as FA WNL Northern Premier champions, while Swindon Town triumphed in the Division One South West title decider.

Burnley clinched the Northern Premier Division title with a 3-0 defeat of Stoke City at Turf Moor, where Millie Ravening scored twice. Wolves finished a point behind the Clarets with a similar result over Halifax, who ended in the drop zone after Loughborough Lightning escaped by hitting Sporting Khalsa for six.

Gwalia United’s 2-1 loss at Exeter City to a late goal by Georgia Vaccaro saw them finish in the Southern Premier Division relegation zone by a very small margin. AFC Wimbledon were two goals better off than the Welsh side after a 2-2 draw at Hashtag United. Plymouth came from behind at the break to win 4-1 at Real Bedford, while AFC Bournemouth pulled off a 4-2 victory at champions Watford.

Cheadle Town clinched the Division One North runners-up spot with a win at Durham Cestria, while Leeds United drew with Stockport County. Doncaster Rovers Belles failed to get out of the drop zone after a 1-0 defeat at Norton, Wythenshawe beat champions Huddersfield Town 3-1 away.

Boldmere dramatically beat Leafield Athletic 3-1 to take the Division One Midlands runner-up spot from them. Kidderminster Harriers made sure of keeping their status with a win at Sutton Coldfield Town, leaving Stourbridge confirmed in the bottom two places.

Division One South East champions Fulham finished unbeaten with a 3-2 success at London Bees, runners-up Norwich City hit Cambridge United for six in front of over 4,000 at Carrow Road, but QPR lost out to relegated AFC Sudbury at Loftus Road.

Swindon Town snatched the Division One South West title from Moneyfields, breaking their hearts with a 90th-minute goal by Sahara Osborne-Ricketts.
