Bristol City Women have made the season-long loan signings of Naomi Williams from Arsenal and Olivia Johnson of Brighton.
Goalkeeper Williams has been with the Gunners since she was 13 years old and signed her first professional contract in June 2023.
She was part of their Champions League-winning squad and has most recently featured for England at U-23 level.
Williams bcfc.co.uk: “It feels amazing to be out on my first loan and to be here at Bristol City and to be a part of something great is exciting.”
Head Coach Charlotte Healy added: “Naomi has spent several years in Arsenal’s first team squad, so this will be a valuable first loan for her.
“It’s important to have strength in depth and competition across the squad so we’re all excited to have her here with us joining Fran and Emily in our GK Department.”

Forward Johnson has represented England at Under-17 level and made five league appearances for the Seagulls last season
Johnson said: “It feels very good to be here and I’m excited to get to know the rest of the players.”
Healy added: “OJ is a really exciting young player who I’m really excited for the fans to see.
“She is a different type of forward to what we currently have here, but I think she’ll fit into our style of play fantastically.
“She’s a young player who has scored a lot of goals in her youth career, so after spending time in Brighton’s First Team I’m excited to see her now get her opportunity in senior football in what will be an exciting WSL2 season.”
