Bristol City Women have completed the signing of central midfielder Eilidh Shore on a two-year-deal following a two-year spell with Hearts.

She helped Hearts to their first Scottish Women’s Premier League title last season and the Scotland U-23 international previously spent five years with Aberdeen, clocking up over 150 appearances.

Shore told bristolcitywomenfc.com: “It feels amazing to finally be here and get the deal over the line.

“I’m really looking forward to meeting the girls and just getting going. The facilities here are amazing, from the pitches to the gym; it’s just top quality here, and I’m really excited to get started.”

Head Coach Charlotte Healy said: “Eilidh has had a fantastic two seasons at Hearts, having been instrumental in helping them win the title last season. She is also the captain of Scotland U23s, and we are so excited by her potential.”

“We want to ensure that, as a club, we continue to attract top young talent and give them a platform to develop and perform, and we feel that Eilidh fits that profile perfectly.”
