Bristol City Women have re-signed academy graduate Brooke Aspin from Chelsea, who previously helped the Robins win the second-tier title.
She has made a total of 52 appearances for Bristol City, including a season-long loan from Chelsea in the 2023-24 campaign.
Internationally, Aspin has captained England U-17s and also the U-19s, before making her debut for the U-23 side.
Aspin told bristolcitywomenfc.com: “It feels amazing to be back, I started off my journey here and it’s always going to be home so I’m excited to show the fans what I can do again.
“I made my statement here at the club and I want to continue that. I’ve grown as a person and a player and I want to prove to the fans why I’ve come back.”
Head Coach Charlotte Healy said: “We’re delighted to welcome Brooke back to Bristol City Women. She already understands what this club is about and what it means to represent the badge, which makes this an exciting fit for everyone.
“Brooke is a talented young defender with real quality on the ball, excellent athleticism and a strong mentality. Despite her age, she’s shown she can perform consistently at a high level both domestically and internationally, and we believe there’s still significant room for her to develop.”
