Norwegian international Emilie Joramo will join Brighton Women on 1 July after her contract with Hammarby expires.
The midfielder spent three seasons with the Swedish side, making 85 appearances, including ten in the UEFA Women’s Europa Cup.
She previously helped Rosenborg to finish as runners-up in the Toppserien twice, winning two Swedish League Cups with Hammarby, and finishing as runners-up in the Europa Cup.
On the international scene, she made her way through the Norway development sides to the seniors, for whom she has so far made three appearances.
Head coach Dario Vidosic told brightonandhovealbion.com: “Emilie has had an excellent few years in Sweden with Hammarby, challenging for the league title and reaching the Europa Cup final.
“She has a really strong skillset in that she’s a good ball-winner, comfortable bursting through midfield and has a good range of passing.”
