Brighton Women take on Man Utd Women as the WSL returns following the international break, during which Michelle Agyemang suffered an ACL rupture.

WSL leaders Chelsea will host mid-table London City Lionesses on Saturday, while second-placed Manchester City will be looking to capitalise on any slip-up as they face a West Ham side yet to earn a point from six games.

Manager of the Month for October, Andrée Jeglertz, told mancity.com: “Both Rebecca [Knaak] and Grace [Clinton] have been training fully now for the last week. I expect them to be able to participate in the game or at least being able to be part of the game on Saturday.” (On Naomi Layzell’s fitness) “They are still assessing to see what it is and how long she will be out.”

Third-placed Manchester United head to Brighton on Sunday, with Jess Park winning WSL Player of the Month for October but suffering being treated for concussion. Albion are missing Arsenal loanee Michelle Agyemang for the rest of the campaign, following her ACL injury while on England duty.

Spurs face Liverpool who are yet to get off the mark, Arsenal travel to Leicester, while Aston Villa host Everton whom they lead by two points.

WSL 2’s top two face off as top scorers Birmingham host unbeaten leaders Charlton, whom they trail by a single point.

Third plays sixth with Southampton home to Nottingham Forest, fifth meets fourth as Sunderland receive a visit from Bristol City.

Sheffield United take on Durham who sit two points ahead of them. Ipswich and Newcastle clash with each chasing a second win of the season, likewise basement side Portsmouth and their visitors Crystal Palace.
