Birtley Town and Lye Town both went top in the latest Regional League standings, as Denham United celebrated their 10th straight victory.

EASTERN – Needham Market Go Third

1 South – Needham Market beat Brentwood Town in the only game to go ahead, as they leapfrogged their visitors into third place.

EAST MIDLANDS – Arnold Eagles Pursuing Leaders

1 North – Arnold Eagles are five points off leaders Grimsby Town from two games more, after a 3-1 victory over Cleethorpes Town. Chesterfield Community Trust put five past Newark Town to climb to third spot.

LONDON & SOUTH EAST – Eastbourne Recover Two-Goal Deficit

Premier – Millwall Lionesses moved into the top half of the table with a 3-1 defeat of Newhaven.

1 North – Herne Bay’s Isobel Lewis-Taggart bagged both goals at Richmond & Kew as they rose to seventh position.

1 South – Thursday’s meeting of the sides in second and third saw Saltdean United Development surrender a two-goal advantage against Eastbourne Borough, watched by a crowd of 122. Substitute Isobel Langridge scored one of the goals for the unbeaten visitors, as pressure was piled on top team Bognor Regis Town, with whom Saltdean are now equal on points. Sunday saw a 1-1 draw between Bexhill United and Montpelier Villa.

NORTH EAST – Birtley Hit Top Spot

Premier – Ponteland United won 5-2 over a Wallsend BC side a couple of points above the relegation place, to move into sixth position.

1 North – Birtley Town netted nine goals against basement side Wallsend BC Reserves, to replace Gateshead Rutherford at the top, as Nichole Havery scored five times. i2i International Soccer Academy sank Hartlepool United 7-0 featuring Leschea Guiste’s 13-minute treble, as they went second on goal difference with two games in hand on the leaders.

1 South – Altofts are within a point of fourth-placed Sheffield Wednesday after beating the Owls 4-1 away.

NORTH WEST – Chester Continue to Chase Nantwich

1 Central – Ashton Town’s 8-0 thrashing of Radcliffe put them third on goal-difference, as they overtook Rochdale. Mossley Hill Athletic came out on top, 5-3 at home to Pilkington.

1 North – Bolton Wanderers Reserves are six points ahead of the rest following their 4-1 success at Morecambe.

1 South – Nantwich Town still lead the title race after 150 fans witnessed a 6-1 result over Wirral Phoenix in which Amanda Fallon notched a hat-trick. Chester are five points behind with a game in hand, following a 4-0 defeat of Liverpool Feds Reserves.

SOUTHERN – Perfect 10 for Denham

Premier – Wycombe Wanderers are 11 points clear after a 5-0 result against Badshot Lea in which Kayla Potter was on target three times. Southampton Women were 4-0 winners at Beaconsfield Town, whom they overtook along with two others to sit second.

1 North – Denham United took their 100% record to a 10th match, winning 2-0 at Chesham United Development. Penn & Tylers Green’s 4-1 victory at Slough Town lifted them two places to second. Ascot United Reserves are three points clear of the relegation position after a 4-0 result over Oxford City Development in which Kezia Nzeribe and Lily Pendlebury each scored twice.

1 South – Bursledon hit AFC Varsity for six, rising two spots to seventh on goal-difference.

Shield Services Group SOUTH WEST – Corsham Secure Big Three Points

1 North – Corsham Town inflicted a first defeat upon Royal Wootton Bassett Town, as Chauntine Lyons struck a five-minute double in the latter stags. The result lifted Cosham above their hosts and up to second spot, just a point short of top side Mangotsfield United from two gams fewer.

WEST MIDLANDS – Lye Town Lead League

Premier – Lye Town’s 2-0 victory at Hednesford Town saw them take top spot from Redditch Borough. Leek Town managed to beat Burton Albion 1-0 with Alanya Tezgel’s 50th-minute goal, although they’d had Hannah Kiddle dismissed before half time. Coundon Court beat Alvechurch 2-0, Solihull Moors went one better against Coventry Sphinx.

1 North – Top-of-the-table Lichfield City fought back from 3-0 down early on for a 6-4 success at Chasetown, aided by doubles from Shelbie Cartwright and Courtney Dilger.

1 South – Worcester City Reserves’ 3-0 win over Kingfisher put them fourth and level on points with third-placed Knowle.
