Birmingham City Women have signed Haitian international forward Batcheba Louis for an undisclosed fee from French side FC Fleury 91.

Louis joined FC Fleury 91 in 2022 and has made 74 appearances and scored 25 goals, helping them finish fifth in the French Premier League last season.

With 33 goals in just 26 appearances for her country, Louis is Haiti Women’s top goal scorer.

Louis told bcfc.com: “I’m really looking forward to discovering this league because it’s all new to me. I’ve seen the players play before, but I’m happy and I’m very excited to get started.

“I’m happy with the project. I saw that they have a good project, very ambitious. I see myself completely in this project, to learn and to bring everything I have too.”
