
Birmingham City Women have signed South Korean international Ji So-yun on a short-term loan from Seattle Reign.
The experienced midfielder has made 41 appearances in all competitions across her two seasons with the NWSL club.
She earlier had a trophy-laden spell with Chelsea, playing 210 times and scoring 68 goals, whilst named in the WSL Team of the Year on five occasions.
Ji is South Korea’s all-time leading goalscorer and most-capped player, with 169 appearances and 74 goals to her name.
Ji told bcfc.com: “I’m looking forward to playing in England again. I like the ambition of the club and I hope I can help Birmingham on their journey to promotion and bring some exciting football for the fans.”
