Bayern Munich came from behind to beat Manchester United 2-1 in the inaugural World Sevens Football Final, while Manchester City finished fourth.

Melvine Malard won possession to set up Simi Awujo who fired United in front, before Bayern’s second-half comeback.

Momoko Tanikawa equalised and Sarah Zadrazil turned in the box to shoot home the decider.

United had earlier defeated Manchester City 2-0 in the semi-finals, Malard’s impressive early opener added to in the latter stages by Gabby George.
