Promoted London City Lionesses have a tough start against Arsenal at the Emirates on Saturday, then Sunday features the Merseyside derby at Anfield.
Manchester United start at home to managerless Leicester City, Spurs host an all-London clash with West Ham, Brighton entertain Aston Villa in the other midday kick-off.
Sheffield United and Sunderland get WSL 2 up and running early Friday evening, before Ipswich make their WSL 2 debut at Southampton on Saturday.
Sunday sees Nottingham Forest start their new challenge at home to Newcastle and Charlton welcome relegated local rivals Crystal Palace back to the second tier.
Runners-up last term, Birmingham begin with a visit from Bristol City, while Durham start with a long haul down to Portsmouth.
