Aston Villa Women have signed Norwegian international midfielder Justine Kielland from VfL Wolfsburg.
The defensive midfielder has 16 caps for her country since her senior debut in 2024, was in the squad for Euro 2025 and has played in the UEFA Women’s Champions League for both SK Brann and Wolfsburg.
Kielland told avfc.co.uk: “It’s an amazing feeling. I’m really excited to finally be here. Putting on the jersey for the first time feels really good, I’m excited to get started.
“The WSL is a really acknowledged league and I’m looking forward to the competitiveness. You can see every team is getting better and the league is taking steps every year, so I’m really excited to test myself here as well.”
Marisa Ewers, Director of Women’s Football, said: “Justine is a player with impressive experience for her age, having competed consistently at both international level and in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
“She’s a composed midfielder who will work hard for the team and has all the attributes to continue developing here. We believe she’ll make a real contribution as we continue to move this squad forward.”
