Arsenal Women confirmed their UWCL quarter-final clash with Chelsea after a 7-1 aggregate victory over OH Leuven.
Alessia Russo turned home a ball from Katie McCabe to add to the four-goal first-leg lead, but the visitors quickly levelled on the night, as Sara Pusztai’s goal was ruled onside after a VAR check.
Caitlin Foord won a second-half penalty after a foul by Linde Veefkind, and Mariona Caldentey converted it to restore the lead.
Russo scored her second of the game in added time, assisted by Taylor Hinds.
The ties with Chelsea will be played late March and at the start of April.
Real Madrid earlier went through 5–2 on aggregate over Paris FC with a 2-0 win on the night, after the visitors had a player sent off in only the fifth minute. Madrid will face Barcelona in the last eight.
