Tottenham Hotspur v Chelsea (2.25 KO)

Arsenal became only the second side this season to deny Manchester City a victory.

Mariona Caldentey’s perfectly-weighted pass saw Olivia Smith get away from Rebecca Knaak and take the ball past goalkeeper Ayaka Yamashita to slot it into the empty net. Vivianne Miedema had the ball in the net for City, but the whistle had already gone for a foul.

West Ham came from two goals down to pull off a 3-2 win over Brighton and move up to 10th spot.

Kiko Seike fired Albion ahead from outside the box late in the first half. Manuela Vanegas doubled the lead after the hour mark, hitting the top corner off Madison Haley’s ball. Ffion Morgan halved the deficit from wide right with eight minutes of the 90 left, Shekiera Martinez then levelled from a distance and Viviane Asseyi grabbed a dramatic stoppage-time decider.

Liverpool climbed off the bottom at Leicester City’s expense with a big win over Aston Villa.

The Reds hit Villa with two goals in the opening quarter of an hour, as Mia Enderby put away a ball from Ceri Holland and Martha Thomas finished off the second. Miri Taylor pulled a goal back from a Kirsty Hanson cross before the break. Grace Fisk sealed the win with a goal from Jenna Clark’s corner, Aurélie Csillag added a fourth in stoppage time.
