WSL & Conti Cup Action Gallery
She Kicks, issue 45, January 2018 p.32
A two-page photographic gallery covering WSL and Continental Cup action between 1 November 2017 and 14 January 2018, credited to various photographers for The FA. The spread is photography-led and carries no reporting text, each image labelled instead with a hashtag caption: #BLUESCOMPANY, #ROYALROAR, #SAYCHEESE and #CHELSCHASE on the first page, followed by #ASTONTHRILLA, #DANDELIGHT, #HANDYHORNET, #NIKANDNAD, #SAFETYLAWS, #TEAMGOALS, #TIGHTKNIT and #BEEMUSED on the second. No players or fixtures are named anywhere in the spread, the hashtags hinting at the clubs rather than spelling them out, and the pictures take in Chelsea, Reading, Aston Villa, Watford, Arsenal and others across the top flight and the cup competitions in the middle of the 2017-18 season. The pages are headed WSL and Conti Cup Action Gallery.
