A round-up of the first Women’s Professional Game Awards, held in London on Sunday 11 May and covering the 2024/25 Barclays Women’s Super League and Championship across 14 categories. Mariona Caldentey took WSL Player of the Season, with the Golden Glove shared by Phallon Tullis-Joyce and Hannah Hampton and the Golden Boot shared by Alessia Russo and Bunny Shaw. Vivianne Miedema won Goal of the Season for her strike against Manchester City in January, and Shekiera Martinez was named Rising Star. Isobel Goodwin did the double in the Championship, taking Player of the Season and the Golden Boot, alongside Emily Orman’s Golden Glove, Sophie Quirk as Rising Star and Maria Farrugia’s Goal of the Season. Katrina Gorry was Player Champion of Change, Emma Fletcher Club Hero and Bik Singh Fan of the Year.
