Women’s Football Pyramid 2020/21: Wales

The Welsh section of the magazine’s four-nation reference guide to the women’s league pyramid, published at the start of the 2020-21 season. It runs from the Orchard Welsh Premier League at tier one – Abergavenny, Aberystwyth Town, Briton Ferry, Cardiff City, Cardiff Met, Cascade, Cyncoed, Port Talbot Town and Swansea City – down through the Welsh League South Wales divisions, the North Wales Premier Division and its championship sections east and west, and the West Wales and Ceredigion leagues at tier four. Roughly ninety clubs are listed in all. The compiler notes that the lists were accurate to the best of the magazine’s knowledge as at 21 September 2020 and invites corrections, which is a useful caveat for anyone using this as a historical record of the Welsh structure.
