Wolves Back To Winning Ways (Anna Parks interview)

Wolves captain and assistant manager Anna Parks, who has played for the club since she was nine, explains how a disappointing relegation allowed the side to rebuild and give younger players a greater opportunity, with team spirit better than ever. A strong pre-season including results against sides from the division above left them optimistic, and six straight wins followed. Losing to Loughborough Foxes in the closing minutes was really disappointing, she says, but Loughborough are a very good side who keep improving as more students return through the season, and the squad must learn and look forward across a long campaign. She found last season’s Northern Division tough with a lack of strength and depth, and aims to return there as soon as possible.
