Wimbledon Regain Premier League Place (Libby Suchley interview)

Vice-captain Libby Suchley, coaxed out of retirement two years ago, describes sealing the London and South East league title with a win over Carshalton, having beaten the same side in the Surrey Cup semi-final the weekend before. More than a hundred league goals and no defeats, she says, come from an incredible strike force and from players all over the pitch scoring, herself included. Winning the league at home and the final-minute goal against Camden that preserved the unbeaten run are her favourite moments. Promotion to the Premier League for a side rebuilt from scratch less than two years ago is, she says, a testament to everyone at the club, with a Surrey Cup final against Crystal Palace still to come.
