#WEURO2017 Fan Snaps
She Kicks, issue 43, September 2017 pp.18–19
Two pages of photographs sent in by supporters who travelled to the Netherlands, and the recurring note is how well the Scots and the England fans got on. Glasgow City supporters pose in the Rotterdam fanzone alongside Erin Cuthbert’s parents. One reader photographs an Ellen White celebration with people he had previously only spoken to on Twitter, and reports that Lucy Bronze saw them taking it and laughed. Another met Toni Duggan in the fanzone, had her Manchester City shirt signed, and returned after the Portugal game to give her a signed England shirt. A Scotland fan collects selfies indiscriminately, from Lana Clelland to Alex Greenwood. One supporter says that singing and dancing with the Dutch after losing to them was the most fun of the trip.
