Ebony Salmon scored 74 seconds into her debut against Houston Dash and says it took the pressure off; Gemma Bonner, unexpectedly out of contract talk at Manchester City, came for the challenge of playing World Cup winners every week and has not given up on England. Bonner is thoughtful about how social media reshaped the game she came through in, and Salmon about learning to ignore it. Salmon reflects on a difficult spell at Manchester United and on proving people wrong by scoring against them for Bristol City.
