Wrexham became champions of Wales for the first time, winning the Genero Adran Premier and with it a place in the first qualifying round of the 2026-27 UEFA Women’s Champions League. A 4-1 victory over Cardiff City on 29 March had already sealed it, with the trophy presented after the final fixture at home to Swansea City seven days later. A 2-1 defeat could not dampen the celebrations, and the 1,308 in attendance set a record for a competitive match at the Rock. The title capped a historic first campaign under Jenny Sugarman, following February’s Adran Trophy win over Cardiff. Wales boss Rhian Wilkinson joined the presentation as captain Jodie Bartle lifted the silverware.
