We Kick with Plymouth Aspire Girls FC and Chesterfield High School Under-13s

Two junior sides take the same questionnaire and answer it entirely differently. Plymouth Aspire Girls, second in the Devon Junior Minor League but League Cup winners, insist there are no stars because every player is needed to win, and their coach shouts ‘farm animals’ whenever someone is nutmegged. They all travelled to Wembley for the FA Cup Final and rate Alex Scott, who knows a team mate’s dad from television. Chesterfield High’s Under-13s, the Chezzy Ballers, dab a lot and tease their smallest goalkeeper, and won a Premier League tournament that brought a night in a five-star hotel, the Liverpool first team coach and a game at Stamford Bridge. Two of them play for Liverpool, and they name Gemma Bonner as a role model.
