We Kick with Bedlington Town Bulldogs

The magazine’s recurring team slot features Bedlington Town Bulldogs, an Under-13 side playing a year above themselves in the Under-14 Pin Point Recruitment League, where they have just finished runners-up in league and cup. Managed by Michael Third with coaches Katie Luther and Stacey Crooks, they play in blue and white stripes at home and purple away, and listen to Rudimental before big games as well as recording their own version of a One Direction song retitled Football Memories. They returned from Disneyland Paris in April 2015 as Under-13 International Cup winners, having won the league, cup and six of seven tournaments the previous season. The squad support Newcastle United Ladies, have been ball girls for them, and some have trained with Jill Scott.
