View From The Field: Kerys Kicks (Kerys Harrop column)

Kerys Harrop marks ten years of the WSL by pointing out that she has played in every one of them, and reckons only Jill Scott and Steph Houghton can say the same. She remembers the promotional photographs and filming at Wembley before the league launched, and the sense that a new era was starting. Her best memories are the Birmingham City sides of 2011 to 2013 under Marcus Bignot, with Laura Bassett, Jade Moore, Karen Carney and Jodie Taylor, and the Champions League nights that followed, including a quarter-final in Italy in front of forty thousand. Now at Tottenham and just back from a back injury, she is enjoying a return to left-back and hoping for a part in the derby at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
