View From The Field: Kerys Kicks (Kerys Harrop column)

Writing a few weeks into life at Tottenham, Kerys Harrop reports that pre-season flew by, that she has been exploring London and Windsor while the weather holds, and that she feels part of the furniture – an old piece of furniture, she adds. Three signings from Orlando Pride have arrived since her own move, and she is warm about how quickly Alanna Kennedy and Shelina Zadorsky have fitted in on and off the field. Alex Morgan started the day she wrote, looking sharp three months after giving birth; Harrop asked her whether she had been up early with the baby and got a blank stare in reply, which she puts down to her Birmingham accent. As a defender she relishes the prospect of facing the incoming American forwards, and hopes the fans return soon.
