View from the Field: Joelle Murray

SK columnist and Hibernian legend Joelle Murray marks a milestone in her latest ‘View from the Field’ column, having just made her 500th appearance for her childhood club against Rangers – a game Hibs led before falling to a 2-1 defeat. Murray reflects on a media day that brought together SWPL top-six captains for interviews and challenges, the touching gestures of support she received from past and present teammates, and a bouquet sent by rivals Glasgow City to mark the occasion. She also looks ahead to the league’s post-split run-in, including a Friday-night derby against Hearts under the Oriam lights, and welcomes the growing media and promotional push behind the Scottish women’s game.
