UEFA Women’s Europa Cup Final
Her Goal, issue 7, June 2026 pp.44–45
The inaugural UEFA Women’s Europa Cup final was an all-Swedish affair, played over two legs on 25 April and 1 May. BK Hacken edged the first game 1-0 in Stockholm through Felicia Schroder, and the newly-19 striker saved her best for the return in Gothenburg, scoring twice inside nine minutes, with a turn and shot from the edge of the box and then a confident one-on-one, to leave the reigning league champions almost out of sight. Hammarby hit back with headers from Svea Rehnberg and Elin Sorum just after the interval before Schroder settled it on 53 minutes with another one-on-one finish. Hacken won 4-2 on aggregate under Elena Sadiku, Schroder finishing top scorer on eight.
