UEFA’s Switzerland-hosted Women’s EURO 2025 draw, made in Lausanne shortly before Christmas, set the shape of the tournament that runs from 2 July to 27 July in Basel. Hosts Switzerland join Norway, Iceland and Finland in Group A, Germany face Poland, Denmark and Sweden in Group C, Spain meet Portugal, Belgium and Italy in Group B, and France, England, Wales and the Netherlands make up a daunting Group D. As with every previous tournament to feature more than one home nation – EURO 2017, the 2019 World Cup and EURO 2022 among them – England and Wales were kept apart in the group stage, with Group A winners facing Group B runners-up in the quarter-finals and vice versa.
