UEFA Women’s Euro 2017: Match Schedule and Venues
She Kicks, issue 42, July 2017 pp.40–41
The centre of the Euros guide is given over to the practical business of following a tournament: the complete group-stage schedule with kick-off times at either five o’clock or a quarter to eight, and a numbered map of the seven Dutch host cities. Enschede’s FC Twente Stadion would stage the final, with Tilburg’s Willem II, De Adelaarshorst in Deventer, the Rat Verlegh in Breda, the Vijverberg in Doetinchem, Sparta’s ground in Rotterdam and Utrecht’s Galgenwaard sharing the rest. Laid out over two pages between the Group B and Group C previews, it is the reference spread a reader would have kept open through July, and the only place in the issue where the tournament’s full shape is set out in one view.
