UCFB Student Sarah Helping to Inspire the Next Generation of Females Working in Sport (Sarah Makki)

Sarah Makki works at BBC Sport alongside a multimedia sports journalism degree, and found herself on a panel at Kick It Out’s Women’s Raise Your Game conference at Wembley – a room of agents, lawyers and journalists she went to network with and ended up addressing. Sitting alongside other women already making their mark inspired her to dream bigger, she says, because anything is possible; being the one telling others about her own experiences was frightening at first and worth it for knowing she might inspire someone else into an industry they care about.
