Transfer Watch

She Kicks’ transfer listing captures the movement that reshaped the leading European squads in the summer of 2019, most of it settled before a ball was kicked in France. Nikita Parris leaves Manchester City for Olympique Lyonnais and Ellen White moves in the opposite direction, joining City from Birmingham City. Arsenal both lose and gain: Dominique Bloodworth goes to Wolfsburg and Ava Kuyken to the Florida Gators, while Jill Roord and Manuela Zinsberger both arrive from Bayern Munich. Jackie Groenen joins the newly promoted Manchester United from 1. FFC Frankfurt, and Rebecca Carter moves from Lewes to Crawley Wasps. The slot notes that the summer transfer window closes on 5 August, after the World Cup has finished and before the new league season begins.
