Top Ten: Leanne Ross’ Ten Favourite Things About Glasgow City

Glasgow City captain Leanne Ross, the club’s record appearance maker and scorer and a participant in all ten title-winning campaigns, lists her ten favourite things about the club. Winning comes first: ten years, twenty-one trophies, and the first Scottish team of either sex to win ten league titles in a row. Europe comes second, including a Champions League quarter-final and playing PSG at the Parc des Princes. Third is the talent the club has developed and exported, naming eleven graduates now professional from Houston to Bayern Munich, with the regret that City cannot afford to keep them. She also credits the academy, the orange army supporters, and founders Laura Montgomery and Carol Anne Stewart.
