The She Kicks Locker Room: Tweets for #ballers

The magazine’s recurring Twitter slot asks followers for the best track to get them in the right mindset before a big game. Helen Ward jokes that if her Wales manager had her way the squad would be listening to Wind Beneath My Wings. Other replies range widely: Bob Marley through headphones in the back of the car, Emeli Sande over almost any dance track and particularly Free with Rudimental, Clean Bandit’s Rather Be, Bastille’s Laura Palmer for road trips paired with One Direction, The Fugees’ Ready Or Not, and Kanye West, Rihanna and Kid Cudi’s All Of The Lights for focus and game face. One respondent offers Nessun Dorma, the Italia 90 theme, and another Britney Spears.
