The She Kicks Locker Room: Pet Corner With Beth England

Pet Corner returns for a second run and lands a Lioness. Beth England introduces two golden retrievers: Buddy, nearly four, named because a first dog was always going to be a best mate whatever the group chat suggested, and Dilys, just two, given a Welsh name meaning genuine after her partner. Both can offer a paw, go flat and roll over, and Buddy will balance a tower of biscuits on his head until told to move. As footballers, Dilys would be a red-card certainty flying into tackles in the manner of Cantona, while Buddy would be a reliable De Bruyne. What she loves most is the tail wagging on the bed each morning. Buddy features in a photograph taken the night she proposed to her partner.
