Doncaster Rovers Belles’ Sophie Barker answers the magazine’s recurring kit questionnaire. Her first boots were the black and red Adidas Predators David Beckham wore, bought in the belief that wearing them would make her play like him, and she cost her father a fortune because every new Beckham release had to be had. Now that Beckham has retired she wears Nike Tiempos made on Nike ID for two reasons: they must have orange on them, her favourite colour, and at a size four it is hard to find boots that fit. She names Rhiannon Roberts as the team-mate with the cleanest boots and herself as the worst offender. Her shirts are all Manchester United, and her favourite is one signed by Ruud van Nistelrooy and Beckham.
