The She Kicks Locker Room: Kit Check with Emma Brownlie

Everton’s January signing from Hibernian, the 25-year-old full-back Emma Brownlie, takes the Kit Check. A former Scotland Under-19 international, she jumped at the chance to join a big club and link back up with coaches Willie Kirk and Chris Roberts. Her first boots were the classic black and red Predators with the tongue, still her favourites, and she wears white Hypervenoms now, in a size five. She keeps four or five pairs on the go, admits to being superstitious enough to change boots after a bad session, and once taped a pair of Tiempos together for a final outing. On shirts she names Hibs cup final jerseys and an old white Scotland shirt with the light blue cross, and nominates former Hibs team-mate Lisa Robertson, a painter, for the dirtiest boots.
