The She Kicks Locker Room: Game Ready with Grace Moloney

Reading’s Republic of Ireland goalkeeper takes the Locker Room through a matchday. Grace Moloney has Weetabix every morning whether or not there is a game, has no real matchday go-to beyond toast, and arrives with the tunes blaring before typing songs into a speaker connected to Molly Bartrip’s phone, where ABBA’s Dancing Queen is a dressing-room favourite. She has started writing notes on her water bottle to remind herself of details during a game. She gets nervous for every match and relies on a playlist she has had since she was sixteen. Her goalkeeping coach has her analysis ready by the next session, which she works through before anyone else arrives. She names Katie McCabe the joker and motivator of the Ireland dressing room, and pleads guilty herself at Reading.
