The She Kicks Locker Room: Five Faves with Rhiannon Roberts and Danielle Turner

Two players take five quickfire questions each and give away more than the format suggests. Doncaster’s Welsh defender Rhiannon Roberts picks David Beckham, a ground in China called the Bamboo Stadium, a Blackburn Rovers title-winning shirt she calls an absolute classic, and a win over Manchester City, before naming her favourite Euros memory as watching Millie Bright start and play, having seen how hard she worked to get there. Everton’s Danielle Turner counters with Paul Scholes, Old Trafford on the grounds that she supports United, the kit she happens to be wearing, and the 2014 FA Cup final against Arsenal – then answers the Euros question by cheerfully admitting she was on holiday and did not watch a minute of it.
