The She Kicks Locker Room: Car Quiz with Remi Allen

Birmingham City’s Remi Allen takes her turn at the magazine’s recurring car questionnaire. She drives a Ford Fiesta Zetec named Zoey by team-mate Chelsea Weston, and says that if the car were a footballer it would obviously be Steven Gerrard. She would decline a personalised plate on the grounds that nobody knows who she is, so nobody could follow her. The five constants in the car are football boots, a coat for coaching, a packet of sweets, spare kit and a general accumulation of rubbish. Allen makes five or six trips a week over roughly twenty-minute journeys, so has little to complain about, and passes the time singing when alone. Her favourite drive is to the airport, and her ideal road-trip passenger is Jade Moore.
