The She Kicks Locker Room: Car Quiz with Lois Roche (Florentia San Gimignano)

The driving slot goes to Lois Roche, the former Reading and Republic of Ireland Under-19 midfielder now with the Italian Serie A side Florentia San Gimignano, where Emma Lipman and Stephanie Roche also play. Her childhood taxi driver was an actual taxi driver: her parents live in central London and have no car, so she travelled the country by train and bus at ridiculous hours and considerable expense. The club has since given her a white Lexus CT, which she suggests should be called Bill on the grounds of what it costs her in parking tickets – three of which are among the five things always in it. If the car were a player it would be Pirlo: rarely moves, maintains great quality, easy on the eye, and Italian.
