The She Kicks Locker Room: Car Quiz with Emma Lyons

Stirling University player Emma Lyons, who also works as a Teaching Fellow at the university, takes the Car Quiz. She drives a black VW Beetle, simply called Beetle, and reckons that as a footballer it would be Paul Scholes: small, always arriving at the right time and able to look after itself in a tackle. Her ideal plate is H527 CFL, the registration of her first car, a VW caddy pick-up that sat in her parents’ garage for eleven years awaiting repair before she sold it to a friend who restores old VWs. The five essentials in the car are boots, bags of monkey nuts for local wildlife, a road map, a waterproof and a can of diet coke.
