The She Kicks Locker Room: Car Quiz with Claire Emslie (Everton)

The Locker Room’s car-themed questionnaire, put to Everton’s Scotland international, recently seen racing through to score at Old Trafford’s Stretford End. Claire Emslie drives a Jeep called Juicy, and if it were a footballer it would be Duncan Ferguson. Her personalised plate would read CFC 1888 – Everton’s founding year rather than another club’s initials – and the five football things always in the car are a football, boots, a water bottle, a change of clothes and mud. She estimates eight hours a week behind the wheel, passed listening to music and phoning her sister. Her favourite drive is Deerfield Beach in Florida down the A1A for the beach scenery, and her ideal road-trip passenger is Millie Turner, a great DJ who is good at spotting famous landmarks.
